Terms of service

The plain-English terms for working with LX5 Solutions. If anything's unclear, email lx5aisolutions@gmail.com before you sign up.

1. Who we are

LX5 Solutions ("LX5", "we") is a web and automation studio based in Cork, Ireland. Contact: lx5aisolutions@gmail.com. These terms are for businesses buying our services.

2. Free concept websites

A free concept website is built from information that is publicly available about your business. It's a preview only, it's hidden from search engines, and there's no obligation to buy anything. Some details may be wrong until you check them with us.

3. Signing up and when you pay

Signing up costs nothing. We build and finish your website, you check it, and your first payment is only due when your website is ready to go live and you're happy with it. Your website goes live once that payment is made.

4. Packages and prices

Prices are shown on our website and in your account. All prices are in euro; if VAT applies, it's shown on your invoice. You can pay in one of two ways:

• Pay once: one payment, with your first year of hosting and care included. From year two a monthly care plan applies, which you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
• Monthly: 12 monthly payments with nothing upfront, the first one taken when your website goes live. After 12 payments your website is fully paid off and you move to the monthly care plan.

The Elite Growth plan is monthly only and includes the website build with no upfront fee.

5. Minimum term and cancelling

• Monthly website plans have a 3-month minimum term from the day your website goes live. The Elite Growth plan has a 6-month minimum term.
• After the minimum term you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice, from your account or by email.
• If you cancel a monthly website plan before 12 payments are made, you can either pay the remaining balance of the 12 payments and keep your website, or we'll switch the website off at the end of your notice period.
• If you cancel Elite Growth, the website we built under the plan is switched off at the end of your notice period, unless we agree a price for you to keep it.
• Care plans can be cancelled any time with 30 days' notice. Without a care plan we no longer host, update or back up your website, but we'll help you move it elsewhere.

6. Late payments

Payments are taken automatically by card or bank debit through Stripe. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and we'll email you a link to update your details. If a payment is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause your website and any services until it's paid.

7. Launch offer

The launch offer gives €250 off any package to our first 5 clients. On monthly plans it's taken off your first 12 payments (€21 off each). In return, we ask for an honest Google review and permission to show your website as an example of our work. Only one offer applies per client.

8. Ownership

Your business name, logo, photos and content always stay yours. The design and code of your website become yours once it's paid for in full (on the pay-once option, or after 12 monthly payments). Where possible your domain is registered in your business's name. Our own tools, systems and templates stay ours.

9. Your content and changes

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your website and for having the right to use any content you give us. Small text and photo changes are included in your plan; bigger changes or new features are quoted first.

10. AI features

Chat assistants and other AI features answer from the information we give them and can occasionally get things wrong. They're there to help, and they don't replace you checking important details with your customers.

11. Hosting and availability

We work hard to keep your website fast, secure and online, with regular backups. We can't guarantee it'll never be unavailable, and we're not liable for losses caused by outages outside our reasonable control.

12. Our liability

Any savings or results shown on our website are estimates, not promises. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects your plan, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
