Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR. Questions: lx5aisolutions@gmail.com.
Who we are
LX5 Solutions, Cork, Ireland, is the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
- When you ask for a free website, sign up or contact us: your name, business name, email, phone number, and anything you tell us (such as your website, address or VAT number).
- When you're a client: your package, payment history, website and domain details, and the change requests you send us.
- Payments: card and bank details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Chat: messages you send to the chat assistants on our website and on websites we build.
- Basic analytics: pages visited and how visitors found us, without advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To build your free website and send it to you, and to talk to you about it (your consent, and our legitimate interest in replying to you).
- To provide the services you sign up for, take payments and send invoices (our contract with you).
- To keep records we're required to keep by law, such as accounts.
We don't sell your data, and we don't send you marketing you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run LX5: Stripe (payments), our email provider, our hosting provider, and AI providers that power the website builder and chat assistants. They only use your data to provide their service to us.
Free websites built from public information
Our builder uses information that's publicly available about a business (such as its website, listings, menus and reviews) to create a concept preview. Previews are hidden from search engines. If you'd like one removed, email us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and free website requests: up to 2 years. Client records: for as long as you're a client and 6 years after, for tax and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing lx5aisolutions@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
